Any thoughts? Do you like my choices?

  1. Best Production Design for The Grand Budapest Hotel YES!!! I need to see Citizenfour.

Your best picture winner is Boyhood, and Citizenfour beating Life Itself? I suppose you are giving them the win because of their technical or cultural significance, and the top 30 are personal favorites

    1. The top 30 are my personal preferences while with this article I aimed at being objective.
There are actually some films I haven’t seen like Citizenfour. I gave it my Oscar because It’s a brave film to make. I did some research about it so I am not oblivious about it. , not that you said that. While I love Life Itself this one probably is more important. I heard they’re showing it on HBO right after the Oscars so we’ll see it soon.

There are many of the list that I haven’t seen. I mostly wanted to do this for the fun of it. I don’t care about the Oscars as much as before but sometimes they can really mess it up.

And yes, The Production Design award had to go to The Grand Budapest Hotel. I hope this transcends to reality. Thanks for stopping by. I will check your albums list right now.

    1. Recognizing Under The Skin is something that just couldn’t happen in this universe. Let them stick with their Imitation Games and Theories of Everything. Every year we hope they reward the people that deserve but we always get disappointed. Guess they’ll never have the balls to get out of their comfort zone.

And yes, Nightcrawler could have used a little more nominations, but at least it got a Screenplay nomination. Glad you liked the picks.
